Abstract
By heating Zhundong coke with microwave, this paper studies the effects of particle size, power, coking temperature and negative pressure of coke on discharge. The influences of microwave discharge on the surface functional groups of coke are investigated by using FT-IR.The results show that the coke below 600 ℃ coking by heating to 200-300 ℃ can discharge. The coke above 800 ℃ coking, the higher the carbonization temperature, the less the overall discharge, and the lower the final temperature of coke. The large diameter coke makes intermittent arc discharge, and the small size coke makes intermittent spot discharge under normal pressure. The smaller the particle size, the more the heated hot spots in the discharge, and the higher the temperature of coke.No discharge appears when the coke diameter is less than 98 μm.The higher the power, the greater the overall discharge. The negative pressure can promote the discharge of coke, resulting in a higher final temperature.Achieving the critical negative pressure, the coke basically does not appear discharge so as to the temperature of coke drops sharply. The discharge can promote the chains of aromatic ring of coke opening and accelerate the transformation and removal of the fatty structure and the oxygen-containing functional groups of coke.
