Influence of driving force to gas hydration separation effect

  • The hydrate separation experiment of three gas samples with four driving forces was conducted by visual agitated gas hydrate separation experimental device, and some target parameters were obtained, such as hydrate separation rate, recovery, partition coefficient, and so on.The results show that in the process of the driving force increased from 1 MPa to 4 MPa, the hydrate separation rate of three gas samples respectively increased from 1.394×10-6, 1.162×10-6, 0.943×10-6 to 1.55×10-6, 1.564×10-6, 1.609×10-6 m3/min, the CH4 separation concentration respectively increased from 85.89%, 77.15%, 71.15% to 91.61%, 81.72%, 77.17%, the CH4 recovery respectively increased from 6.22%, 6.75%, 8.79% to 10.13%, 10.25%, 11.39%, the partition coefficient respectively increased from 1.10, 1.17, 1.23 to 1.21, 1.26, 1.33.These demonstrate that the increase of driving force could improve the gas hydrate separation effect, and accelerate the gas hydrate separation process.
